This estate is the last garden of Menton that remains the property of the same family since 1915. The current owner,
William Waterfield, specially interested in botany, collects tropical species, particularly bulb plants from South Africa.
The landscaping of the garden Clos du Peyronnet is
quit exceptional. It combines colours and movements through a play of water staircases, formed by successive ponds, the last step of which is...the Mediterranean.
Visits on request only.
